Welcome to the 3rd Trimester!

Today marks the beginning of the third and final trimester! Hallelujah!!!!!!

Time to Shower!

Spent my first full day back in NJ at the fun baby shower that my mother organized for me. Good friends, good food, good cake and some really great presents for little Double! Thank you so much everyone! Here are some pictures from the great afternoon...

Everyone took their guesses earlier in the day of guessing how big Mommy's tummy is. I actually got the closest and won -- luckily, since the prize was Double herself! =)

"Little" Double has just about hit the 1 kg mark, meaning she's a little over 2 pounds! Her growth is right on track and she continues to kick away.

Today we hit 27 weeks -- hard to believe next week we enter into the third trimester!

Double carriers: check!

It's official! Andrea and I are now the proud owners of a new, rust-colored NeoNato brand three-in-one travel system (stroller, car seat, baby cot)! We went this morning to pick it up. Baby Double now has a variety of locations to lay her pretty little head in....now if we could just figure out how the heck it all gets put together...!

Welcome to Month 6, Double!

By far the greatest part of pregnancy -- and this seems to be unanimous for mothers worldwide -- is the kicking. Double is great company, and now I (and, finally, Andrea) can even see her kicks from the outside, which is naturally a little bit Alien, a little bit awesome.

I think she also had the hiccups when I was at work today, which was a funny sensation - sort of the like the same dum dum dum dum dum spasm one has on their eyelids from too much sleep, except in my belly!

We have now officially entered into Month Six (week 25)!
